You’re walking bare foot through the woods. The soft grass is cool against your skin as you wander through the changing of the seasons. The colors are vivid, and call to you. Fall is here. The sun filters through the shifting branches, and the wind whispers sweet nothings to your ears. A deer startles out of the brush, and your dog gives chase. You call him back, and continue your walk. Soon the snows will come, and you will no longer be able to connect to the land as easily through the soles of your feet. Fall is here. The wind brings the cool scent with it as you turn, and make your way home.
