It’s that time of year again. Some people hate this day, while others love it. Personally, to me it’s just another day. I love getting flowers or chocolates more on a random day than on a specific day once a year that everyone thinks they HAVE to participate in. No I’m not a love hater lol. Im madly, deeply, irrevocably in love with my amazing husband. To the both of us, gifts of love mean more when they are given spontaneously, and randomly. It shows we are thinking about the other as often as we can. To us, that shows love more than just 1 day a year to celebrate. We celebrate with little gestures every day. Holding hands. Snuggling. Kisses good morning, or whenever we want lol. Him warming up my jeep in the morning when it’s freezing. Me making him coffee before he’s out of bed. It’s the little things we enjoy in life that make it all the sweeter.
Sorry if this was a rambling post.I’ve had so many friends complain that they either have no one on Valentine’s or the fact that they don’t feel happy when they get flowers or whatever because it feels forced. My poor friends. You don’t know what your missing. Embrace life every day. Make a point of showing your loved one how much they mean to you everyday.
Not just once a year.
Happy Valentine’s day!
